Activities in Mallorca
Close to our school the Playa de Palma invites to all kinds of beach activities.
Besides your daily routine of sunbathing and going for a swim the Mediterranean Sea you may enjoy all kinds of water sports activities such as wind- and kite surfing, sailing, water skiing and pedal boats on the beach. The 6 km long beach walk is also ideal to go jogging, inline skating or bicycling.
Equipment for these activities is for rent directly on the beach.
The island can best be explored in a rented car with your fellow students. Cars rentals on Majorca are quite low-priced, information abut car rentals is available e at our reception.
If you prefer to travel on 2 or 3 wheels we recommend renting a motorbike or participating in a trike tour. Organized trips around the island are offered close to our school.
Activities in Mallorca
Must see targets are in Palma de Mallorca the cathedral " La Seu" and further North Alcudia, the ancient Roman capital of Mallorca with remains of several Roman sites just outside the medieval city walls.
In Palma's city center stylish restaurants, cafeterias, and pubs are waiting to be discovered.
Most of Palma de Mallorca's main sights are located within the cathedrals area bounded by the old city walls, these are the Arab quarter with its maze of narrow streets hiding palaces and courtyards; the Palacio de Almudaina, where the Christian kings had their residence, and La Lonja, the old trade centre now converted into an exhibition centre.
As part of our activities we will show you around the city centre with its main sights and taste Spanish and local cuisine with the typical wines and tapas in the old town of Palma.
We also organize paella parties in our school. The paella is being prepared by our teachers to give our students the opportunity to learn how to prepare a paella.
On the Playa de Palma nightlife never seems to stop, you can literally go out every day. From stylish open air chill out clubs to house parties in the discotheques, you will surely find something that fits your taste.
The Playa de Palma is also famous for its Volleyball tournaments in the summer, all visitors are invited to join in and participate in the beach parties held in the evenings.
Besides tranquil beaches close to our location there are also a lot of open air beer gardens offering Sangria and music all day long.
In directly vicinity of our school there is also a gym which offers daily passes.
Definitely worth a visit is the aquarium of Palma which is only some 300 meters away from our school.
Weekend excursions around the island by bus and ship are offered by local tour operators, information about these excursions is available at our reception.
